Wadi Rum 3-Day Horse Tour
3-Day Horseback Riding Adventure in Wadi Rum
This three-day horseback journey takes you deep into the heart of Wadi Rum, exploring its most iconic landscapes while experiencing authentic Bedouin hospitality.
Day 1 – From the Stables to the Seven Pillars and Nafeshiyah Mountain
The adventure begins at Wadi Rum Stables, where your horse is carefully selected to match your riding level. From the stables, we ride toward Um Sleb and continue to the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, one of the most recognizable formations in Wadi Rum. The route leads us onward to Um Ishrin, where we stop for a three-hour lunch break, allowing time to rest, explore, and enjoy the tranquility of the desert. In the late afternoon, we continue riding for two hours toward Nafeshiyah Mountain. Here, we set up our open-air desert camp and enjoy fresh fruit, a Bedouin-style dinner, and a peaceful night sleeping under the stars.
Day 2 – Nafeshiyah Sands, Khazali Canyon Inscriptions, Um Froth, and Burdah
After breakfast, we ride across the soft sands of the Nafeshiyah area, then head to Khazali Canyon to see its ancient Nabatean and Thamudic inscriptions carved into the rock walls. The journey continues to Jebel Al-Qatar for a relaxing lunch break in the shade. After lunch, we ride to Um Sabtah and then to the famous Um Froth Rock Bridge. As evening approaches, we arrive in the Burdah area, where we enjoy dinner and another unforgettable night beneath the stars.
Day 3 – Mushroom Rock, Siq Al-Barrah, and Return to the Stables
The final morning begins with a ride to Mushroom Rock, a natural rock formation shaped by centuries of wind. From there, we make our way to Siq Al-Barrah, a long sandstone canyon known for its stunning scenery and calm atmosphere. We enjoy our last lunch at the end of Barrah before beginning the final ride back toward the village. The journey ends around 4:00 PM at the stables.
