About Us
Who We Are
We are a Bedouin family who has lived in Wadi Rum for many generations. Our hearts belong to the desert — its silence, beauty, and endless freedom. We love the Bedouin way of life and the peaceful rhythm of living close to nature.
We are happy to show our guests and discover Wadi Rum together with the Bedouin way on horseback rides, sharing our love for horses, the desert, and Bedouin life.
Our Horses
Our relationship with horses is built on love, respect, and lifelong passion.
For us, horses are not just animals — they are part of our family and our Bedouin heritage.
Each of our horses receives special care, attention, and daily training to keep them healthy, strong, and happy.
Through this bond, we share with our guests the true spirit of Arabian horses and the deep connection between Bedouins and their loyal companions.
Our Stables
Wadi Rum Stables is located in the heart of the Wadi Rum desert, where the beauty of pure Arabian horses meets the magic of the desert landscape.
Founded in 1994 by Attallah, a Bedouin horseman who grew up surrounded by horses and desert life, the stables reflect his lifelong passion for horsemanship and Bedouin traditions.
Today, his family continues to manage the stables with the same love and dedication, offering visitors unforgettable rides through the breathtaking scenery of Wadi Rum.
Whether you are an experienced rider or a complete beginner, every tour is guided with great care, safety, and the warm hospitality for which the Bedouins are known.
About Atallah
Attallah, a proud Bedouin born and raised in the heart of Wadi Rum, grew up shaped by the desert’s vast landscapes and traditions. His passion for horses began early, learning riding not just as a skill but as a Bedouin way of life—built on respect, patience, and a deep connection to nature.
In 1992, he founded Wadi Rum Stables to share pure Arabian horses and authentic Bedouin horsemanship with visitors. In 1999, he completed a specialized course in horse handling, care, and public safety at the Jean de Chatillon Academy in Sommant, France, training in endurance and long-distance racing.
He later trained his purebred Arabian horse Sacha, who qualified for the 2011 World Endurance Championship in Kentucky, USA.
Returning to Wadi Rum, Attallah blended his Bedouin heritage with modern training methods, offering guests unique and authentic horseback riding experiences that reflect the true spirit of Bedouin life and the beauty of the desert.
Our Family
The family of Attallah proudly manages Wadi Rum Stables, preserving Bedouin traditions that have been passed down through generations.
Born and raised in the heart of Wadi Rum, the family maintains a deep connection to the desert, its horses, and its unique culture.
Together, they warmly welcome guests from around the world, sharing their love for Arabian horses and their authentic Bedouin way of life.
Every ride is guided by a member of the family, who treats visitors not just as guests, but as friends—offering an experience filled with genuine hospitality and true Bedouin heritage.
Attallah and his family personally guide their visitors, sharing their passion for horses and the desert. He has trained his son, Suleiman, in horseback riding since childhood, and today Suleiman is a skilled and experienced guide who leads guests through the stunning landscapes of Wadi Rum.
